Mchip Performance – 25th Anniversary Event Recap
On Friday, August 14, 2026, Mchip Performance celebrated an important milestone in our history with our 25th Anniversary Car Meet in Trois-Rivières.
Established in 2001, Mchip Performance was founded by Guillaume Couture, originally on Rue Pratte in Trois-Rivières. A few years later, the business moved to Rue St-Philippe before eventually leaving downtown and settling at our current location on Rue Bellefeuille.
Over the past 25 years, Mchip Performance has grown into a leader in car audio, automotive electronics, automotive accessories and vehicle customization in Quebec.
From car audio systems, amplifiers, subwoofers and speakers to Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, lighting, remote starters, truck accessories, wheels, tires, lift kits and motorcycle audio systems, we have always adapted to new technologies and the changing needs of our customers.
The automotive industry has changed tremendously over the past 25 years, and Mchip has evolved right along with it. Our goal has always been to stay ahead of the curve, offer quality products and professional installation, and most importantly, find the right solution for every project.
But behind all these changes, projects and 25 years of evolution, one thing has never changed: our customers.
You are the reason Mchip Performance is still here today. This event was therefore much more than a celebration of our 25th anniversary — it was our way of saying THANK YOU.
Thank you to everyone who has followed us, trusted us and supported us throughout all these years.
Some customers who came to Mchip when we first started are now sending their own kids to us to build their automotive projects. That means a lot to us and is something we are extremely proud of. It’s proof that the relationships we’ve built over the years go far beyond a simple transaction.
