MARINE FREE-AIR SUBWOOFER

The HMS 10 B long-excursion marine subwoofer, also available in black under the reference HMS 10 B-C, is designed for free-air (infinite baffle) applications. It relieves the main speakers from the demanding task of reproducing low frequencies, adding depth and punch to the bass for optimized system performance.

The FEM-optimized long-excursion motor structure of the HMS 10 B features a 50 mm (2") voice coil and a massive magnetic motor, ensuring precise control even at high sound pressure levels.

Tested and built for real-world marine environments (UV, salt fog, vibrations, water spray, thermal shock, dust), the HMS 10 B-C is built to withstand the elements.

A progressive aramid fiber spider with silicone-insulated tinsel leads ensures reliability and consistent performance over time. Gold-plated brass terminals, corrosion-resistant and covered with protective silicone caps, safeguard the electrical connections.
