What are environmental management fees (ecofees)?

Environmental Stewardship Fees are collected by electronics retailers when they

they sell products containing metal, glass and plastic. Although they can generally

vary by province, these fees are used to support environmental initiatives that

initiatives that divert many products destined for landfill by reusing them

and refurbishing them in an environmentally friendly manner.
